Most owners judge a site by whether the colours pop. Google and AI read behind the plasterboard: headings, language, and JSON-LD. That is the building inspector, not the interior designer.
The inspector’s list
One main heading (H1). Four H1s is four front doors. None is a building with no address.
A sensible ladder. H2s are the rooms. H3s are cupboards.
JSON-LD. A small script that says, in a format machines like: this is a business, this is the page, these are the hours. You do not see it. Search and answer engines do.
Green ticks, proceed with caution
Wix, Squarespace, and plugins like Yoast are built to tick these boxes. The dashboard saying 100 / green means their checker is happy. It does not mean the H1 matches what customers type, or that the schema describes the real business.
A tick is a claim. Or run the Google AI Mode check in Getting found 5 on your own URL.
Getting found 3: The questions are not ticked
